Deck the Paws Costume Contest

Contest Mechanics and Judging Criteria:

  1. Dress up your pet in their best Christmas-themed costume.
  2. Take photos only at the official photobooth (Tiki Cats or Tiki Dogs).
  3. Post a public photo on your Instagram page during Deck the Paws event from 3 pm to 5 pm on November 11 at Ayala Vertis North or November 18 at Bonifacio High Street.
  4. Follow @bowandwow official Instagram page, make your post public, tag @bowandwow, and use the hashtag #BWDeckThePaws2023.
  5. One entry per Instagram account only.
  6. From the entries, Bow&Wow will select 6 finalists during each event day. The 6 finalists will consist of 3 cats and 3 dogs contestants and will be chosen by Bow&Wow judges based on the following criteria:
    • 50% Deck the Paws Spirit - Relevance to the theme
    • 50% Purrfectly Photographed - Composition of the photograph
  1. The finalists’ photos will be reposted on @bowandwow's official Instagram page on:
    • November 11 at 6pm for Ayala Vertis North finalists
    • November 18 at 6pm for Bonifacio High Street finalists
  1. Two winners will be selected from each event day. The winners will consist of 1 cat and 1 dog contestant.
  2. The final winners for the costume contest will be selected based on the following criteria: 
    • 45% Deck the Paws Spirit - Relevance to the theme
    • 45% Purrfectly Photographed - Composition of the photograph
    • 10% Santa Paws’ impact - Audience impact (Likes on the post).
      • Only Likes (Hearts) on the finalists’ photos posted on @bowandwow's official Instagram page will be counted. Likes, reactions, shares and comments on owner’s or pet’s personal accounts are not counted.
  3. The winners will be announced on Bow&Wow’s Instagram and Facebook page on the following days:
    • November 13 at 4pm for Ayala Vertis North winners
    • November 20 at 4pm for Bonifacio High Street winners 
  4. Each winner will receive an exclusive Bow&Wow Gift Set. Winners will need to send a direct message to Bow&Wow on Facebook or Instagram to claim their prize.
  5. Winners from Ayala Vertis North costume contest cannot participate in the Bonifacio High Street costume contest.
